Jeremiah Clein is 15 years old and has leukemia. He is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital for cancer, but he has needed blood since he was four months old when diagnosed with an auto immune disease.

Jeremiah has had 80 red blood cell transfusions, 30 platelet transfusions and 10 plasma transfusions, but Sunday their family friend Leigh Ann Rex hosted a blood drive to replenish the supply, and as a mother herself, she was thinking of Heather Sunday.

“It’s very heart breaking, and I don’t know how she does it. You have to be very strong,” said Rex.

“He’s my hero and I am so proud of him,” added Bias.
