A local woman is sharing her story so others will take the time to give the gift of life.

Back in 2004, Kathy Sansone wasn’t feeling well. Turns out she had colorectal cancer. Before she could undergo surgery, she needed blood transfusions.

Sansone spends her days helping others as community liaison for SEFCU.

One day in October 2004, it was others who helped her.
