In March 2017 Amelia Iverson suffered a near-fatal birth complication requiring massive amounts of blood transfusions. On Nov. 11, 8-year-old Gracie Andrews received life-changing news. It was the day she was diagnosed with leukemia, and routine doctor appointments and chemotherapy became a part of her everyday life.
