Cedar Rapids man celebrates 80th birthday by donating blood for the 578th time
Ed Holstrom, of Cedar Rapids, is turning 80 this month, and he’s celebrating by giving back to others. He has made his 578th donation at the Williams Parkway Donor Center. Ed makes donations through the blood program at St. Luke’s Hospital. He also donates at mobile blood drives in Rockwell-Collins.
