On Friday, the annual spring blood drive was held at Forbush High School. Several parents, community members and students attended to donate blood in the gymnasium. In the early morning, several faculty members of Forbush High School showed up to show support and help save lives.
Throughout the day, more and more people arrived filling up the chairs. There were a total of 158 eligible donors and the group was able to collect 153 units of blood.
Student volunteers could be found throughout the gym ensuring that all was running smoothly, and making sure the donors were feeling their best.
“Forbush HOSA would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in assisting in another successful blood drive event,”organizers said.
