It was a moment of clarity in the midst of chaos for Paris mother Glenna Kelley that got the ball rolling.

“With Brent, being that he was in the hospital and had to receive blood, that’s when it kind of clicked for me that this is something that I could be doing,” said Kelley.

Her son, Brent, died suddenly in 2007 at 13 years old from an unknown heart problem.
But Kelley says Brent is always on her mind.

“Anybody that didn’t know him, I mean, they missed out. He was a great kid,” said Kelley. “He was very funny, very outgoing.”
