The uncle of a baby battling leukemia is hoping to get more people to give blood.

The Scarborough Fire Department held a blood drive Wednesday.

Jeremy Moreau says his young niece was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March at just 10 months old.

Since then, she has undergone multiple blood transfusions as the Red Cross faces a blood shortage.
