POTTSTOWN STUDENTS LEAD IN BLOOD DRIVE – Pottstown High School students and staff members this month continued their push to donate pints of blood to patients in Pottstown Hospital during shortages and times of critical need. Their mid-February (2019) drive collected 29 units, and raised the entire school’s collected total so far in the academic year to 110 units, according to school health occupations teacher Michaela Johnson. Volunteer donors arrived despite busy student schedules filled with exams and semester changes, she added, and they have already begun planning for another blood drive to be held in spring.
