Throughout his teens and early 20s, Arthur McEnearney donated blood. Now at 89, he’s the one in need of blood transfusion.
“I know people needed it. Just like I need it. And I never thought it would turn around but it did,” McEnearney said.
McEnearney got his blood tested on Thursday to see if he was in need of more. The pokes didn’t seem to bother him. It has been his routine for the past three and a half years.
“You don’t hardly feel it when they stab it,” McEnearney said.
