In the midst of a blood crisis, a Nicholasville survivor tells her story, urging the community to donate.

It was 2018 when a fatal one-vehicle accident involving multiple Nicholasville teenagers shook the Jessamine County community.

Megan Picinich was only sixteen years old when she woke up from a coma, wondering where she was, why she was confined to her hospital bed, and asking “Where’s Aubrey?”.

Her best friend, Aubrey Howard, 15, died just moments after the accident. Picinich, sitting in the back seat next to Howard, suffered life-threatening injuries.
