A mum says her two-year-old daughter has ‘hit rock bottom’ in her fight against an aggressive form of blood cancer.
Brave Chloe, two, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in early June after she developed what was believed to be a cold.
Mum-of-three Virginia Carpenter from Melbourne says the diagnosis was like ‘being sucked through a vortex’.
Ms Carpenter told Yahoo News Australia : “It was pretty shocking. I felt like I was being sucked through a vortex.
“It’s a bit sickening.”
The family have been assured the disease is treatable but Chloe will have to have treatment until the end of 2022.
