A Minot family held a blood drive Thursday, not only to give back to the community, but also to honor the memory of their late son, and carry on his mission.
Robert and Brenda Artz’s son Nathan passed away in 2015 from a rare form of cancer known as rhabdomyosarcoma.
Before he passed, Nathan expressed an interest in organizing a blood drive, and even began planning it.
The Artzes chose to hold the drive in his honor.
