The mothers in Menomonee Falls whose kids are battling cancer are having a successful blood drive at the Radisson Inn.
The Blood Center of Wisconsin’s sign up sheet had 120 donors to help these four women save other people’s lives.
The women have taken on the nickname “The Fab Four.”
Courtney Miles, Katie Maziasz, Christa Olsen and Sue Trzebiatowski, or “The Fab Four,” say their children are poked and prodded what seems like every day, so they can stand a poke to give blood.
The women admit this blood drive grew from a small idea shared over the summer into a large winter blood drive. The Blood Center of Wisconsin’s Matt Queen says this is even more special because donations during the holidays are usually low.
