The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department is teaming up with Marsh Regional Blood Center to host blood drives in memory of fallen officer Sgt. Steve Hinkle.
The ‘Sergeant Hinkle Memorial Blood Drive’ will be held Friday, May 10, from 11:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department office in Blountville.
People who donate in honor of Sgt. Hinkle will get a free T-shirt and their blood donation will be used to help people right here in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Additional blood drives will be held in Bristol Regional’s Walnut, Willow and Spruce rooms on Thursday, May 9, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and Friday, May 10, from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
