Jordan Montgomery is just like any other 16 year old.
He is a star on his high school basketball team, he denies he loves his siblings, he claims he’s Kevin Durant’s biggest fan, and he says he doesn’t like rules.
The one thing that makes him different?
“I have aplastic anemia,” said Jordan. “It’s when your red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets don’t reproduce properly and your body starts fighting itself.”
Jordan was diagnosed two years ago and recently his doctor suggested it was time to find a stem cell donor. He and his family are working with Be The Match to try and find one.
