When Finn Larson-Harris was 2 months old, he started getting sick with a variety of symptoms — unexplained fevers, odd rashes, pneumonia, upper respiratory infection and more.
“Every couple of weeks he had something and almost always had a raspy, chunky sounding cough,” said his mom, Kelly Harris of Little Falls.
It wasn’t until after Finn had turned 1, one doctor discovered something that led them on the right track. By then, Finn had been seen by 17 different providers and 28 visits, Harris said.
That day she had brought him to the Family Medical Center in Little Falls for an ear infection that didn’t seem to improve. It was then Dr. Kurt Devine discovered Finn had a heart murmur.
