The Las Vegas community gathered to help a 7-year-old boy fighting cancer.

Luke Orlovsky was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December 2022, and that’s when his family and friends quickly learned the importance of blood donation for cancer patients.

Luke’s classmates and families hosted an American Red Cross blood drive on Saturday to encourage donations for Luke, who is starting his sixth round of chemotherapy, and other critically ill patients who need transfusions.
