Over the course of 40 years, three Lampasans have been instrumental in potentially saving 1,458 lives through their blood donations. However, this is just a glimpse into the larger community of generous blood donors in Lampasas County, whose efforts have benefited thousands of lives. ‘I probably first gave in 1973,” said Steve McDaniel, who has donated 176 units of blood over 40 years.
