Meet Autumn Culbertson. She’s an 8th grader at Case Middle School and a Girl Scout in Watertown.

After her 3 year old cousin was diagnosed with leukemia this summer, she wanted to make a difference and give back by hosting a public blood drive.

“Called the Elk’s Club and then called other people to see if they want to do a walk-in to do the blood drive. And then, here we are now setting up,” said Autumn.

Autumn’s organization of this project will help her earn the Silver Award as a Girl Scout, the second-highest honor.
