Setting an example, a bride and groom along with their close relatives made the wedding ceremony unique by organising a blood donation camp at the venue. Groom Dr Kulwinder Gill of Jhuner village and bride Gurshaman Kaur of Butahri village in Ludhiana donated blood before getting married.

The camp was organised in association with the Science and Welfare Club, Amargarh, at Malwa Resorts on the Malerkotla-Ludhiana road.
