The community will honor a young girl who died following a battle with cancer.

Eliza Cait Millwood fought leukemia before her death earlier this month. She was only 10 years old.

A blood drive will be held in her honor on Wednesday, April 25.

The Landrum girl was diagnosed with leukemia in February. She was in remission around Easter, but contracted an infection that led to her death.

Those closest to Eliza Cait remember her kind and loving spirit.
