On Friday, Baton Rouge police officers came together to help a brother in blue recover after a tragic accident.

BRPD held a blood drive for Officer Rickey Faust at their headquarters on Airline Hwy. Faust was injured last month in a wreck on I-12 while on duty. Since then, he’s had two surgeries to repair damage to his ribs and spine. Chief Carl Dabadie says it’s important for the BRPD family to come together in a time such as this.
