SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) — The Montessori Academy of North Texas and the Texoma Regional Blood Center have teamed up to help 14 year old Scott Middle School student Zach Alvarez who is battling T-cell ALL leukemia.

The community was asked to come out Tuesday to donate blood and the response from the community was strong.
