A Wallaceburg man has set a milestone. Gerry Flynn donated blood for his 150th time recently.

Flynn, a retired teacher and businessman, donated blood for the 150th time on Jan. 25 at Canadian Blood Services clinic held at Wallaceburg’s UAW Hall.

Flynn said half of Canada’s population is able to donate blood, yet only four percent of people donate.

“Somebody’s got to do it to help people that need blood transfusions,” Flynn said.
