Abbotts College Northcliff prides itself not only in academics, but in making a difference in the community.

On 28 July, the school embarked on a blood drive to support the South African National Blood Service to help save lives.

According to the service’s website, less than one per cent of South Africans are active blood donors. This means that Abbotts Northcliff students are part of a very small percentage in the country doing their part to keep the blood donation level up.

Abbotts’ donation clinic was set up in their hall and was run by the service’s professional staff.
